Essential Guide to Pilates

No matter whether you are a complete Pilates novice or you’re planning to re-start or continue your Pilates journey, the Physio Centres are the perfect place to do it. Our classes are small, which means you get highly effective and personal instruction that’s tailored to your needs.

Getting started with Pilates

Pilates will aid and empower you to take a positive approach to your health and fitness, regardless of the challenges you may face; and the team at the Physio Centres are your ideal companion.

When it comes to equipment, we provide everything you need; all you need to do is come along with comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. In order to provide the best experience all round, we have split our classes into 3 simple categories: Clinical, Tone and Shape and Lunchtime Blitz.

Before you start

Prior to starting Pilates we recommend that you come along for a session with one of our physiotherapists. This will help us understand your particular needs and direct you towards the best Pilates solution for your unique situation. It will also provide the opportunity to introduce anyone new to Pilates the terms and techniques you’ll need for your first class.
