This is Trish Foggo. Trish has 10 years experience in massage and a whole host of techniques in her repertoire. Her goal is to progress to BTEC Level 6, which is currently the most advanced massage course available in the UK.
Career to Date
Trish started her therapy journey in 2004 after having a Bowen treatment to fix a long standing running injury. So amazed by this gentle therapy, Trish decided to learn it herself (as well as all the other therapies she now has to her name) and has worked at the Physio Centres since 2005.
Trish’s initial interest in understanding the musculoskeletal system started after a chain of running injuries suffered when training for her first marathon. These made her review her career and to help fix people rather than fixing computers (she was in the IT industry before). Trish is particularly innovative in her approach and finds bespoke, inventive solutions to get clients pain-free in the most effective way possible.
Life outside the clinic
Outside of work, Trish runs and cycles for pleasure (normally the pleasure is a beer or a cake at the end of the ride). Having pretty much travelled the world, Trish adores Edinburgh and is particularly taken by her local, Joseph Pearce’s because it’s so friendly, serves great food and lets her dog in.
Ever the modest m’dam, Trish quietly confesses to completing 7 Marathons including London, New York and Paris in a 12-month period. Now that puts us all to shame!
Trish’s favourite thing is walking on a deserted beach with Whisky, her Tibetan terrier puppy.
